Designed & constructed an original set for an entirely student produced production of the debut performances of Feras Halabi’s The Crooked Star. Scenic design was inspired by the sea shanty style of music to create a set that embodies oral storytelling. Using the pub as a location where stories are shared, the elements in the pub transform to create the pirate ship upon which the story takes place. This set was modular and each element had multiple ways in which it was utilized.
